In the face of the growing crises of climate change, hunger, extreme poverty, and the threat to world peace, I have taken it upon myself to assume direct leadership in the fight for the survival of all living beings on our planet. Time is running out, and it is imperative to unify strategies to address these challenges effectively. My call is simple: if someone demonstrates greater capacity to lead this effort, I will step aside and follow. But if no one does, then I ask you to join this fight and act with determination. If we fail, millions will perish, or even all of us. Nature does not forgive, and the time to act is now.
Priorities of the Maitreya Initiative: Global Climate Emergency Plan
The Maitreya Initiative is designed to mitigate the most devastating effects of climate change and resolve the deep social asymmetries that exacerbate current crises. These are the key goals we must achieve to ensure the survival of our civilization and all living beings on the planet:
1. Complete Decarbonization in 4 Years
The first pillar of this initiative is the complete elimination of fossil fuels within four years. We can no longer wait. The world must shift towards renewable energy sources: solar, wind, geothermal, and other clean technologies. This requires massive investment in green infrastructure, incentives for technological innovation, and strict regulations to ensure that the most polluting industries accelerate their transition to clean energy.
2. Global Energy Consumption Reduction by 50% in 4 Years
Over-exploitation of energy resources is one of the greatest threats to the planet. As part of this plan, we propose a 50% reduction in global energy consumption. This will be achieved through the implementation of energy efficiency technologies in industrial and domestic sectors, the redesign of smart cities that optimize resource use, and the rationalization of consumption in daily activities, including turning off urban lights after 8 PM and restricting internal combustion vehicles.
3. Urban Energy Solutions with Green Nuclear Reactors
Replacing fossil fuel power plants with compact nuclear fission reactors will be key to providing clean energy to cities with more than half a million inhabitants. Properly managed nuclear energy offers a safe and efficient path to eliminate the most polluting sources and ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply, helping meet decarbonization targets.
4. Technological Revolution: Advanced Geothermal and Frontier Energy
The future of the planet also depends on disruptive new technologies. My initiative suggests boosting innovative projects that compete with companies like Quaise Energy to accelerate the development of deep geothermal plants. This type of energy can become a long-term solution to global energy needs, reducing reliance on polluting technologies.
5. Eradication of Hunger and Extreme Poverty in 4 Years
Hunger and poverty are unacceptable realities in a world where resources are abundant. The Maitreya Initiative proposes a systemic change to ensure a minimum universal income for all global citizens, especially as automation and artificial intelligence take over production. Developing sustainable agricultural technology and redistributing food and resources equitably are crucial to ensure that no one dies of hunger again.
6. Global Climate Justice: Holding Polluters Accountable
The fight against climate change also involves holding the most polluting countries and corporations accountable. Through global legal actions, we will sue those who have contributed to environmental destruction. We will use legal principles such as the Precautionary Principle and the Polluter Pays Principle to ensure that the responsible parties face the consequences of their actions.
7. Global Peace and Social Justice
Climate change is also a matter of peace and social justice. Resource conflicts will escalate if we do not act. My initiative promotes the creation of a global system of Direct Digital Democracy, allowing all citizens of the world to participate in decision-making, removing barriers between governments and people. A Global Scientific Council will guide this process, ensuring that political decisions are based on the best available scientific evidence.
A Call for Global Inclusive Action
This plan excludes no one. All governments, businesses, non-governmental organizations, and citizens of the world are invited to join this cause. We need scientists, social leaders, politicians, youth, educators, activists, and professionals from all disciplines to collaborate on implementing these solutions. Only by working together can we stop the devastation of our planet.
Conclusion
If we do not unify our actions, the impacts of global warming, poverty, and extreme hunger will lead to the extinction of much of life on Earth. As the leader of the Maitreya Initiative, I make an urgent call to all human beings: act now, or face the irreversible consequences of inaction. If someone more capable emerges to lead this effort, I will step aside, but until that happens, I invite you to join and participate in the fight for life and the future of our planet.
This is not just my plan; it is the plan for all of humanity.
Sincerely,
EcoBuddha Maitreya Leader of the Green Army and Ambassador of the Global Ecological Alliance
