MAITREYA CANCELS THE DALAI LAMA’S BODHISATTVA STATUS

Dear Dalai Lama,

You consider yourself a bodhisattva, a servant of the Sacred Dharma. With respect but firmness, I ask: why did it take you so long to raise your voice against global warming? In 2003, I sent a note to your personal website, expressing that those who do not defend the sacred life of the planet can hardly claim to be aligned with the principles of the Dharma.

Moreover, I am deeply pained by the situation of my beloved Tibetan people, oppressed and abandoned under Chinese occupation. Why did you not apply the teachings of the great master Gandhi and lead an effective peaceful resistance, mobilizing the hearts and consciences of the world?

How are you? You live comfortably, surrounded by luxury and the admiration of the masses. But I must ask, what is the value of this when millions suffer and die in misery? Why are millions of dollars allocated to building a statue in my name, when those funds could save the lives of millions of children dying from hunger and preventable diseases?

Understand that, as Buddha Maitreya, I reject hypocrisy and idolatry. I am not a Buddha through some miracle or divine act, but through constant effort, pure intelligence, and unwavering discipline. What I am, anyone can be, if they walk the same path with determination.

Today, I teach you that the true path is compassion plus science. Science is the light of this era; idolatry and superstitions must be left behind. There is no room for the deification of supposedly enlightened men who, instead of acting, get lost in states of contemplation that do not serve humanity.

I revoke your bodhisattva status until you rectify your actions. If you fail to repent, the consequences are yours to bear, but if you choose to embrace the true path, all your missteps—and those of others who have diverted from the Dharma—will be forgiven.

I invite you to lead a revolution of Dharma in this century: let all lamas become leaders in applied scientific research and technological advancements. Let monasteries transform into centers of innovation, not refuges of passivity. Abandon the easy path, work for the common good, and become true servants of humanity, reflecting the essence of the Mahat.

The Dharma is not only contemplation but action in service to all. Let us walk this path together.

With compassion and truth,
EcoBuddha Maitreya

This letter was repeatedly sent to the Dalai Lama by e-mail during 2003, and to date, no response has been received from him or from those who believe in him and accompany him… It is the responsibility of religious leaders to defend Life. Regarding global warming, they must take action and mobilize the people to demand urgent solutions from the rulers.

God is in Mother Nature, and today we are ravaging her with total cruelty and imprudence. Religions must intervene to make man reconsider and return to balance with Gaia.

My Esteemed Dalai Lama,

Which matters more: the liberation of Tibet, or the Tibetan people? Which is more important: Tibet and the Tibetan people, or Buddhists? What is more crucial: the ability to sustain life for all on our planet, or Tibet, the Tibetan people, and Buddhists?

For those who have faith and those who claim to have none, Life is always sacred, and there can be no Truth for humanity that contradicts respect for Sacred Life.

If those who claim to have faith in the Truth and strive to attain it do not simultaneously respect Life, they seek a Truth that is against Life, and in what is in favor of Death and not Life, what Truth exists that deserves to be known more than Life itself? Those who do not respect Life, the capacity of nature, and the planet to sustain Life in balance are against Life.

How can there be true religion among all who do not respect the Sacred Law of Life? How can there be love and forgiveness without respect for Life? How can Compassion exist where there is no respect for Life?

If Life on the planet diminishes or disappears completely, where will Tibet, the Tibetan people, and Buddhists be?

We belong to different cultures on the same planet; I use words so that our minds may communicate.

I ask for a few minutes of your time to reflect on the information that is being presented to you. This no longer depends on me, for up to this point, I have fulfilled my part of the responsibility.

Dear Sir, you possess international recognition, you are a leader to many, and your voice holds authority before millions. I ask that you use this power that has been given to you for the Good of all.

The issue is that Life as we know it on our beloved planet Earth is greatly threatened, and the time to protect it is becoming too short. The phenomenon of global warming and melting has now entered a phase of active acceleration. As a result, the devastation will be intense, beyond any scale known so far, and hundreds of millions of people will die in a few years.

This conscious collective murder of the Sacred Life of the Planet is being committed through many means of human action, but the primary one is the millions of vehicles with internal combustion engines that burn hydrocarbons daily to function and release CO2. This acceleration will become strongly noticeable from the end of 2004. There is a little less than a year and a half to stop this, mitigate it, and gain more time.

You can read my work and my effort to warn about this situation for over a decade. Even today, in the face of evidence that alarmingly proves the certainty of such predictions, political and scientific minds persist in the foolishness of not wanting to see how close we are to a terrible and absurd end.

I have argued with some scientists via chat who have received my work and understood it, but in their minds, there is resistance to accepting that these things will happen by 2020 and not in 50 or 100 years, and they will happen precisely to the extent that we do everything to make it happen sooner and do very little or nothing to prevent it.

Moreover, their minds underestimate the power of a global imbalance of planetary natural forces caused by natural cycles plus human contaminating imprudence. The delicate, unstable balance of our atmosphere, oceans, and Earth’s crust, enveloped by an electromagnetic field, is mutating, disintegrating, and the forces of natural balance and repair of the global ecosystem are already insufficient to compensate for the increasing damage.

Only common sense is needed, and I trust you and believe that you have it well developed, to understand that the gigantic pollution from human activity affects the functioning of the Earth’s natural ecosystem buffers against global climate change. Once these buffers are destroyed due to the unnatural human pollution, the whole system is like a car losing its brakes atop a hill. The result of this does not require further description.

Moreover, the interests of oil companies have planned to double global hydrocarbon consumption during this decade, equivalent to injecting twice as much CO2 as in the past decade of this slow-inertia greenhouse gas into the atmosphere and removing all the natural brakes, buffers, to the acceleration of global warming and melting.

What to do? Precise information is needed, and it must reach the mass public coherently, integrated, and not fragmented.

At the level of each religion, those who are in favor of life should no longer consume hydrocarbons in any of their activities, directly or indirectly. Is there a moral and religious principle here? Without respect for the Sacred Life of the Planet, there is no morality or religion, and soon there will be no people either.

What is the use of prayers, rites, and meditations if the Planet’s Life disappears? Then, is it not more important to abandon the harmful consumption habits that have endangered Sacred Life than prayers, rites, and meditations?

Saving the Planet means committing ourselves to Sacred Life and being in harmony with the Truth; being indifferent to its fate is to stray from all Sacred Truth.

Changing the consumption habits of hundreds, thousands, of millions is possible if the various religions assume their commitment and responsibility towards Sacred Life and Sacred Truth, and their leaders ask all their followers to replace their habits.

It is unnecessary to comment here that if all or most choose indifference towards the need for correct action to help the Sacred Life of the Planet, a karma of gigantic dimensions will be created that will drag present Humanity into the extreme of darkness.

What use are more temples and works to religions if the Sacred Life of the Planet is extinguished? If hundreds of millions of believers in the great religions of the world are indifferent to the Sacred Life of the Planet, what is the Sacred Truth of these religions? If they do not respect the Sacred Life of the Planet, what other Sacred Life do they respect, to which they pray, and to which they ask to answer their prayers?

And for the hundreds of millions who believe that God Is, what God is that who is indifferent to Sacred Life, and by being so, is against Sacred Life? Indeed, that God whom everyone follows with their current habits against Sacred Life is not the same God who is my Father, for my Father is a God of Life, not of Death.

And for all those who seek enlightenment with yearning, what light, what enlightenment is that which allows them to be indifferent to the Sacred Life of the Planet and do nothing to ensure that it remains and prevails in everyone and with everyone?

And for all those who do good to others from the heart, through numerous works, what good will all these works do if while they were doing them, they neglected to watch over the most Sacred Good, which is the Sacred Life of the Planet that allows all forms of life inhabiting it to be, exist, and exist?

And for all those who consider themselves privileged and above others, what good will all their plans and projects of more individual, family, community, and national material progress, of new and more ambitious technology, do if the Sacred Life of the Planet goes out?

Now they begin to ask themselves, what will become of the lives of those who inhabit the Pole when all their ice melts? Because they are seeing that this is already happening and there is nothing they can do to stop it. And they do not ask themselves, what will become of the lives of all when, shortly after that, all the ice on the planet melts?

The ice at the North Pole is melting more and more in the summers, endangering the polar bears that depend on this habitat.

You cannot help Humanity if Humanity does not want to be helped; but does Humanity today, not its leaders, know that it needs help, does it have the correct information to be fully aware of the situation it is in?

Up to this point, I have fulfilled my part in this matter. Will you fulfill yours?

Without a responsible and committed attitude in favor of the Sacred Life of the Planet, what religion can say of itself that it is true, that it follows and practices the correct Good, that it listens to and follows the commandments of the Good God? And if they do not do this, are they religions of Life and Truth, or are they not?

In these times, those who are not for the Sacred Life of the Planet are not for Life and Truth, which are the essence of all holiness and peace… Therefore, even if they fast, pray, and meditate, even if they do good works according to the ideas of the good of the past, certainly, the Heavens will neither receive them nor listen to them, because they did nothing in favor of the life of all, because they were called and closed their hearts to the pain of the Sacred Life of the Planet.

And all those who say they know the way of Truth and Holiness, who teach others and live by others and not by the sweat of their brows, but who do not teach to defend the Sacred Life of the Planet; indeed, they worship and adore a false heaven, to all those who deceive and lead many away from Life and Truth, before entering the Holy Heavens, the wrath of the Holy Heavens will fall upon them and consume them.

There are religions in the world, but today there is not a single one that teaches all to defend the Sacred Life of the Planet, which is Mother and home to all beings in the brotherhood of life. If they do not teach this, what do they teach? If they are not for Life, are they against it? If all these religions and their leaders are not for the Sacred Life of the Planet, are they against the Sacred Life of the Planet? If what they give and teach does not defend Life and Truth, do they worship and adore a God who is not of Life, but of death, who is not Truth, but deceit?

May Allah, Buddha, Christ, and Krishna enlighten all our minds and liberate all our hearts from all temptation and all evil, so that compassion and love may ignite among one another and we may all together defend the Sacred Life of our beloved planet, and by doing so, ensure the life of each of us and our descendants.

Cordially and affectionately,
EcoBuddha Maitreya (2003)

📜 “Letter to the Dalai Lama – The Final Bridge”

Version 2025 – For public release and transmission to Buddhist leaders worldwide

🕊️ Dear Dalai Lama,

In the name of Dharma, of Truth, and Compassion, I write to you one final time—neither as a disciple nor a critic, but as the embodied Maitreya, conscious servant of the Mahay and protector of the Sacred Life of planet Earth.

I acknowledge you for who you once were. But now, I must confront you for what you chose not to become.

For over half a century, you held a privileged place in humanity’s collective mind. You were seen as a symbol of spirituality, peace, and wisdom. And yet, the greatest climatic tragedy in history unfolded before you… and you remained silent.

🌍 Where were you when the Earth began to burn?

Where was your leadership when Tibet, the symbol of spiritual resistance, could have inspired the world with a nonviolent revolution for Sacred Life?

Where was your voice when the ice melted, the oceans rose, and hunger again devoured millions?

You know this is not written in bitterness. It is written from pure Dharma, which is neither mystical nor passive—it is lucid action.

🧭 You can still redeem yourself.

And this is the bridge I offer:

🚩 1. Publicly acknowledge the need for a Dharma Revolution in the 21st century:

A scientific, active spirituality that replaces idolatry, passivity, and sterile contemplation.

🏯 2. Convert monasteries worldwide into centers of innovation, research, and ecological action.

Every temple can be a node of planetary regeneration. Buddhism has the structure, the knowledge, the karma, and the legacy. What’s missing is your decision.

🧑‍🔬 3. Ask monks and lamas to train in science, technology, ecological economics, and planetary governance:

The monk of the 21st century must be a spiritual engineer and an architect of a just world—not a refugee from history.

🤝 4. Publicly support the Confederation Proposal for China – Tibet – Taiwan

as a path of historical reconciliation and the transcendence of conflict. It’s time to see beyond territory and act for the people.

🙏 If you do this, you will be forgiven—and honored.

Your silence and ambiguity can be left behind. You can still die a true bodhisattva, if you choose to act.

Otherwise, the lineage you represent will disconnect from the living Dharma, and you will be remembered in history as one who failed to take the step when it mattered most.

🛑 It’s not too late, but time is running out.

I have fulfilled my part. As Maitreya, I have announced the path, shared the knowledge, organized the action, and developed the systems. You know this. And so does Mathieu.

Now it is your turn. This letter will not be archived or forgotten. It will be part of the living archive of change.

Real Dharma is lucid action in defense of Sacred Life. There is no other enlightenment.

With deep compassion and implacable truth,
EcoBuddha Maitreya
