We are pleased to announce that MayDay will soon activate its Phoenix Retrodata Bank service, through which all member NGOs will be able to publish, in Excel files, the details of all their monthly expenses, including whether their directors receive fees, the monthly amount, or if they provide services ad honorem.

Any NGO committed to honesty and transparency must publish its full monthly expense report online. From MayDay, we will provide the links to these pages and reports.

Any NGO that receives donations from third parties to fulfill its mission and objectives has the moral and statutory obligation to make annual, periodic, and monthly expense reports available online, so that they are accessible to all interested parties.

Inspirational Story: In 2023, while EcoBuddha Maitreya was designing the Mayday.live system, he was contacted by Habib, a mother from Kenya, who accepted the role of director for the system. However, Habib requested $2,000 to create her own foundation, with the goal of earning money for herself rather than helping others. This incident made Maitreya realize that this same selfish and greedy pattern prevails among most organizations claiming to be humanitarian and environmental. Their leaders prioritize receiving their substantial salaries, and only if there is leftover money, do they dedicate it to aid. For this reason, he conceived the Phoenix Retrodata Bank, with the purpose of verifying the accounts of all NGOs, requiring them to publish their monthly balances in Excel format. Those who fail to do so will automatically be suspected of corruption.

Note: Of the first 1,000 NGOs verified by MayDay, we found that only the Gates Foundation, Amnesty International, Red Cross, Caritas, Save the Children, Oxfam International, World Food Programme, WWF, and Ecosia.org publish their financial reports online, though not with all details and not updated month by month.
